Donald Trump’s return to the White House brought an uncertainty about the US commitment to supporting Ukraine, which puts pressure on the EU and its member states to define and demonstrate their own capacity for leadership and justice. Can the EU sustain its support for Ukraine – not only in military and economic terms, but also in securing justice and a fair peace? What are the limits and possibilities of EU External Action in this new era? And how viable is a “Coalition of the Willing” in addressing these challenges?
